TLC was launched in the Netherlands in July 2011. The channel is the non-fiction and lifestyle entertainment channel for women. The channel reaches more than 416 million households in more than 192 countries worldwide, making it the largest women's channel in the world.
The channel tells special, moving, sometimes daring, but always sincere stories. The channel brings a unique mix of striking and special characters and subcultures such as enthusiastic brides, our own transgender couple Louisa & Rosanna and stylist Fred van Leer. TLC offers a surprising twist on everyday and unusual topics, without passing judgment. TLC brings real life, seen just a little differently.
